8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training
Required course covering the role of a security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications, and access control. NYS-DCJS approved.

8 Hour Annual In-Service Training
Mandatory yearly refresher training covering updated regulations, scenarios, and best practices for licensed security guards.

- 4 Hours
16 Hour On-The-Job Training
Hands-on training covering site-specific duties, fire safety, emergency procedures, and report writing. Must be completed within 90 days of employment.
